On January 1, 2021, our firm merged with the Law Firm of Craig & Gaede PA. We are proud to combine our two firms and their respective long histories and meld into a more efficient and more effective advocate for our clients.
As part of this acquisition, C&G staff has been integrated into the HMBCR family so the same great care and expertise you've come to expect will continue as our new family members become even more effective while utilizing our updated and more secure infrastructure.
Our collections efforts are handled by the same C&G staff members, though managed through and by HMBCR attorneys, utilizing HMBCR systems, procedures, and processes. While our collection efforts are now housed at our 7th Street location, Debtors can still reach us through the same phone numbers as always and they'll still have the same helpful, friendly staff assisting them with full knowledge of their account history and efforts.
All debtor payments will now be mailed to:
HMBCR Collections Dept.
PO Box 439
Garden City, KS 67846
Or hand-delivered to:
Hope, Mills, Bolin, Collins & Ramsey LLP
607 N 7th Street
Garden City, KS
You now have the option of making payments online! Payments can now be made using your Visa or Mastercard debit card or by electronic check (see our payment page for details and restrictions).
You can also schedule automatic payments so you never miss a payment again. We only ask that, if you find yourself in unusual hardship, you contact us by phone at least TWO business days BEFORE your payment is scheduled so we can discuss if accommodations or modifications can be made to your payment plan.
For those clients who had C&G appointed as their attorney by a judge in a Child in Need of Care (CINC) case, a misdemeanor case, traffic case, alleged-juvenile-offender case, or in any other court-appointed representation, the court has reappointed an attorney with Hope, Mills, Bolin, Collins & Ramsey LLP to represent you in that matter unless it has already been resolved/concluded. Your confidential case file, including all records and attorney notes, have been transferred to our firm's offices and have been integrated with our records retention policies and procedures. You will continue to enjoy attorney/client privilege with your new attorney and can still expect that information shared with him/her, which information is not already generally known, will not be subsequently revealed to your detriment.
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO STAY IN CONTACT WITH YOUR NEW ATTORNEY. Contact our office to request a phone or Zoom conference with him/her to discuss your case if you have not already done so.
For client / creditors:
No, there is nothing you need to do. Our office will continue to maintain efforts and pursue recovery on your behalf just as C&G has, though through the efforts of new attorneys. If you have any questions, please reach out to us as you've always done.
For appointed clients:
Yes, we encourage you to reach out to our office and make an appointment for a phone or Zoom conference to meet your new attorney and discuss your case. You can reach us at the same phone number as before.
For debtors subject to collections actions by us:
Yes, make sure to stay in close contact with our offices. We have new ways to make satisfaction of your outstanding debt easier to manage such as payments online, payments by phone, or automatic/scheduled payments.
You've already been through enough, let us help you climb out of your past as painlessly as we are able. Keep in mind: we are not your attorney and are required to pursue full recovery for our creditor clients.
Nevertheless, we would rather work with you to make satisfaction as painless as possible so mistakes from your past do not preclude prosperity in your future.
